this ppv was better than the one tna put on and so was one night stand 06 i think both wwe and the ecw orginals should of let this really be the last stand

I was there, ECW is by far my favorite wrestling promotion ever, the original I mean, not that watered down, bubblegum dancing contest Vince gave us.

@Edtweet Yeah, but still One Night Stand was better. Too bad Jerry Lynn got hurt.
A lot of fans were looking forward to him and RVD going at it. I think that hurt the event in some degree.

HCJ had that ONS didn’t have was Tommy Dreamer VS Raven.

@MonkeyFunInc14 lol they were, these guys came from all over the us and some from other countries to witness one night stand. if you say they would have done that then why are there a large majority of the audience chanting ecw continuously on tna? most of tna’s fans were ecw fans and still are, thats why tna brought the originals in because they surveyed the fans and that was what they wanted was ecw.

does anyone find it really gay that joey loves mic foley personally? lol im just kidding i thought it was funny. i miss the old ecw and joeys commentary and mic doin some crazy shit in the ring with the likes of new jack, james fullington(the sandman), sabu, terry funk, the rotten brothers ian and axl, the public enemy johnny grunge joey grunge(who i met personally and am friends with) and rocco rock, and so many other great wrestlers who have passed on and those who are still with us.

This PPV was THE SHIT!!! The person who gave this a thumbs down should be shot. The quality sucks, but I’m okay with that.

It made Tommy Dreamer into a 14 time Hardcore Champion and 2 time world champion, having won the ECW World Heavyweight Champion twice (once in ECW, once in WWE); made Bobby Lashley one of the kings of Extreme; it made Jeff Jarrett into a great wrestler and to create TNA; it made Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, X-Pac, Ted Dibiase, IRS, Doink the Clown (matt osborne ECW original), Curt Hennig, Big Show, etc. into greater wrestlers then they ever were and that’s the truth.

when WWE had hardcore matches or the hardcore title, that proved WWE was like the old ECW (even with those hot divas matches and Extreme Strip Poker (before PG), ESP and WWE RAW was definitely like the old ECW (even with hot playboy models, and that DX BBQ in 2006. WWE made Team 3-D into the most decorated tag team in history, it made Kurt Angle into a big superstar, it made DX popular, New Age Outlaws into a great tag team.
